Makeup is supposed to be fun, but sometimes it can be super overwhelming! The makeup process used to consist of a couple steps then you were ready and out the door. Now, there’s contouring, highlighting, and all these magical techniques. No worries. I’m here to break a couple things down and inform you of the basic makeup do’s and don’t!
Makeup Do’s and Don’t
DO: Follow this guide below of how long you should hold onto your beauty products.
DON’T: Use makeup or other beauty products past their expiration date. You risk irritation and applying product that no longer serves it’s purpose.
DO: Use this order of application for your makeup routine. If you prefer doing a different process, totally great! This is just my opinion and method. I have learned by doing the eyes first, you prevent the hassle of trying to rub off the access on your perfectly done foundation and concealer. TIP: Let your skincare products completely soak in before applying your primer. Repeat before applying your next step!
DON’T: There really isn’t a set in stone don’t for this one. Find what works for you, but this guide proves to work great!
DO: Use brushes for applying make up. The foundation will go on smoother leaving a more flawless look. Eyeshadow brushes are essential in developing a dynamic eye look.
DON’T: or at least try not to use your finger for applying makeup. The oils on your fingers aren’t needed on your skin!
I hope these Do’s and Don’t help!
